The Earth Defenders Toolkit is a collaborative space for earth defenders and their allies. The Toolkit provides a growing collection of resources and training materials for communities on the frontlines of the struggle to defend critical ecosystems around the world, and community networks for users to connect and share their experiences. We officially announced the Toolkit at last year’s 2020 Indigenous Mapping Workshop and learned invaluable feedback from the community on what the Toolkit should be providing, and we are delighted to share back what we built based on your input!
In this session, we will share what’s inside the Earth Defenders Toolkit v1.0, provide an opportunity for more feedback and sharing, and give an overview of the other sessions offered at IMW that cover two of the featured tools in the Toolkit: Mapeo and Terrastories.
