This session will go over how you can set up a custom placename map leveraging Wordpress and Mapbox (or whatever mapping platform you prefer to use. We’ll go over creating custom post types, adding custom information to those post types, hooking up the posts using Wordpress’s API system, and placing points on a Mapbox map in the frontend. There’s a lot to go over here, but you get a lot more control than using any existing Wordpress plugins!
