In this session, we will explore what remotely sensed images ‘mean.’ We will show you how to visualize satellite imagery in different ways and how to interpret that imagery. We will explain what different satellite bands are and why they are important for identifying objects on the ground. These approaches can be use for any kind of imagery including drone imagery. This is a repeat of the session from Day 1, but using QGIS.
