This session will continue from the previous session on Direct-to-Digital mapping in ArcGIS Pro. In this session, you will gain experience with the Direct-to-Digital Esri (D2De) tool by forming pairs and interviewing each other to add traditional areas to a map. (Please feel free to discuss either fictitious or real sites as you feel comfortable!)

Jonathan develops tutorials for university/ college students and assists with GIS research projects. He is interested in the use of GIS for Traditional Knowledge, as well as in software usability and user experience, and is always inspired to learn how Indigenous communities are using mapping techniques for social and environmental sustainability. Jonathan graduated from the University of Waterloo with a major in Geomatics and a minor in Computer Science.
