In this session, we will explore NASA and CSA satellite images, products, and tools through place-based examples and storytelling from our team members. We will provide examples of how optical and radar images can be a resource for the participants interested in evaluating the impacts of wildfires on lands and air quality, mapping flooding extent and water quality, and mapping land cover and change. This session will include a hands-on activity where participants will view their lands via Google Earth and discuss their priorities for using satellite-based EO for their needs.
