Nisha Cochran is a Community Planner at Aubin Consulting and has a deep rooted passion for advancing equity and inclusivity, amplifying Indigenous voices, and ways in which planning can create more meaningful, sustainable and accessible places through the input of Indigenous people’s, youth, Elders and Traditional Knowledge Keepers. Nisha is a proud Métis woman who holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Alberta University of the Arts and a Master of
Planning from the University of Calgary. Her academic pursuits have provided her with a strong understanding of visual storytelling and communications, the complexity of human environments within multi-faceted systems, as well as a robust understanding and awareness of how planning policy and decisions are manifested spatially within communities.
